Not all AP watches are Royal Oaks. For those who want something different, read our review of the Eternal Calendar of Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Perpetual Calendar to find out about this wonderful watch.
Most people who think of the Audemars Piguet immediately think of their views on the Royal Oak or Royal Oak Offshore, but the AP has more than that.
Today we will be looking for a better watch. Something a little playful and visually appealing. The Continuous Calendar of Jules Audemars is a type of watch that you would not want to wear every day and not because you could not take it off. It’s just a special watch that you would like to wear to a special event.
DIAL
The watch here has a beautiful brown dial, with gold clock markers and hands. A well-recorded song of seconds and minutes is seen in the middle of the rose gold index hour recordings around the rhythm of the song.
The Calendar entries are slightly brown and contain a white marker indicating the day, day of the week, and year mark that is in the middle of the 12 o’clock hymn. In addition, a portion of the moon is displayed in clear color at 6 o’clock. These calendar functions are updated via the default settings on the side of the case which we will discuss later.
TIME
The 41mm 18kt rose gold veneer weighs 9.1mm thick which is considered to be the smallest on a regular calendar watch like this. Small enough to hide in your hands but still sturdy enough to make you feel like the best comedy without a joke. It has a polished bezel with lugs with a polished end on the side of the case and the side of the pillars.
GOOD Case
The sapphire crystal back cover is protected by 6 straps, 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom. It reflects the beauty of the house style.
WALKING
This move features a beautifully decorated and slightly solid gold rotor. The rotor has a bone structure that displays the letters “AP” and is labeled with words describing various aspects of its operation such as “ADJ TO HEAT COLD FIVE (5) POSITIONS”, “ISOCHRONISM”, “THRTY-EIGHT (38) EARLY.” “SWISS AUTOMATIC”, well-decorated items, and the Audemars Piguet logo.
The mechanical movement that powers this watch is no longer but Audemars Piguet caliber 2120/2802. A 38-gauge self-portrait with 343 phases, +/- 40-hour power supply, and a heart rate of 2.75Hz or 19,800. Not your regular beat.
Some notes can be found around the back. One such example is the name ‘Jules Audemars’ written in a small round corner where the letters are raised.
BELT
The strap is made of black cowhide leather that stays thick at the top as it connects to the clocks and goes down directly on the strap. The strap is lined with cowhide leather on the back of the band, which touches the hand to make it comfortable.
The strap uses a purple seam and is fastened to the arm with an 18kt rose deployant (folding) polished belt designed as a lightweight AP logo. In addition, the words of the Audemars Piguet are recorded on the clasp only.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS
The sweetness of this cake is that it comes with a beautiful box of beautiful Audemars Piguet. The watch is powered by a battery and can keep the watch stable and ready to wear at any time. It is best to keep a timeless calendar in the winder as allowing the clock to freeze is not only time consuming but also a timeless calendar. The box comes with an old lock and key. The clock also comes with a calendar setting tool.
SUMMARY
The Dial of Rose gold and brown looks gorgeous, yet it is very careful not to look like a shiny watch. Some AP watches are bling; This seems to be all about horology and the artist. This AP clock surprised me. It does not have a large and compact ROO interface. It is very clean and has a timeless calendar, a major problem that is not found on the AP clock at this price.
The sale price on this watch is about $ 62,000 but you can buy one at a very low price (new) $ 29,500 here. Comes with a 5 year warranty from AP (2 years plus 3 years extra when you sign up with AP).
