Gérald Genta NFTs and original artworks started selling

Much has been made this year about how high-end watches are now viewed – and sold – as art rather than timekeepers.

But behind every successful watch there is a great artist and artist and, in the case of the most famous pieces of the past century, Gérald Genta stands head and shoulders above all others.

Many designers can be satisfied with one archeological technology.

The Genta has at least two, the Royal Oak of Audemars Piguet and The Nautilus of Patek Philippe, and many others including watches with Mickey Mouse among others.

Original art and artwork for these and other Gérald Genta watches will be sold in 2022, with prices expected to exceed $ 500,000 for much-needed works.

Each will be sold in conjunction with a special NFT with technical design of Mr Genta’s design. Selecting pieces will also include interesting items that have never been seen before as well as word notes.

Sotheby’s is doing a number of commercials in the new year to sell the first 100 works of Gérald Genta.

Part of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Gérald Genta Heritage Association, as well as their goal of promoting and rewarding the next generation in the visual arts industry, especially in the first launch of the Gérald Genta Youth Talent Award.

With this sale, we are continuing Gérald’s legacy of innovation. He always lives five or ten years ahead of his time, working to achieve an unprecedented idea that completely transforms – and sometimes confuses – companies, but has changed. When Gérald began his career, there were no manufacturers “He was the first to bring the new era, always bringing his passion as an artist to his work, and he never lost sight of his vision. That’s what set him apart,” says Evelyne Genta, a widow. of Gérald Genta.
